These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Dot.Files and any connected Dot Ecosystem platform you sign in to through it. Dot.Files is operated by BluePin Inc ("BluePin", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Dot.Files, you agree to these Terms.
You need an account to use Dot.Files. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account, including files uploaded, renamed, or deleted under it.
Your Dot Ecosystem account is also your identity on Dot.Files. Signing in through a connected platform issues a short-lived, single-use token that confirms who you are, without you re-entering your password.
Dot.Files stores and organises files and folders for your team. You're responsible for having the right to upload and share any file you store, and for the accuracy and legality of its content. Access is controlled by team membership only — there is no per-file sharing or permission model, so anything your team uploads is visible to every member of that team.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep Dot.Files available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
Dot.Files is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BluePin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Dot.Files, including loss of files — you're responsible for keeping your own backups of anything critical.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to Dot.Files, the Dot Ecosystem, or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@infodot.co.za, or via our Contact page. For anything about your personal information specifically, see our Privacy Policy.
